Each 200ml glass of ACTIVE 8 contains 410 mcg of Folic Acid which is an important vitamin for women during pregnancy. Folic acid, if taken for one month before conception and during pregnancy, may reduce the risk of women having a child with birth defects of the brain and / or spinal cord, such as neural tube defects like Spina Bifida and anencephaly.  If you have a baby with neural tube defects, seek specific medical advice.
