Stay Connected

Helping you stay connected, motivated and healthy.

So you’ve got this staying connected with technology thing sorted. Now, here are some tips to help you stay productive, motivated and healthy!
Get stuff done! Make your workspace a place of productivity and organisation with these six tips for creating a productive business space @home.

1) Clean space = clear mind

As the saying goes…

Start from scratch! Remove everything from your desk and wipe down your computer, keyboard, mouse and phone. Keep Amway Home® L.O.C.™ Multi-Purpose Cleaner on hand for regular wipe-downs after your initial deep clean.

2) Focus, focus, focus

This is a tough one, especially now with so many people at home using the house as their office, study, home gym etc…

Try reducing excess noise by shutting the door or using a white noise machine to keep the external sound to a minimum. Create yourself a work playlist with some songs that will help you get in the zone and invest in noise-cancelling headphones to keep out distracting sounds.

3) Eat healthy, exercise regularly

Make sure you’re putting in what you want to get out of your body by eating well and exercising.

Here are some simple tips:

  • Drink plenty of good, clean water.
Top tip: The eSpring Water Treatment System gets rid of 140 potential contaminants from your water supply.
  • Don’t forget to eat your fruit & vegetables!
Top tip: Prepare your meals with quality products like iCook™ cookware with Vitalok™ cooking technology which locks in all your nutrients and taste.
  • Get 30 minutes of exercise a day.
Top tip: Download an exercise app on your phone or tablet with a range of workouts to choose from that you can do in your living room or backyard.
4) Take a break

To maximise productivity, don’t forget to give your brain a break. Try taking a 10-minute break every 45 mins to help clear your mind.

You could:

  • Try doing some stretches/yoga moves
  • Meditate
  • Power through some light housework
  • Just pop out for some fresh air
5) Go Green

Add some indoor plants to give a bit of life to your business space! Living plants help improve air quality and reduce stress.

Here are some easy-to-care-for plants:

  • Succulents
  • Cacti
  • Bamboo
  • Aloe
  • Peace lilies
  • Snake plants
6) Own it

One of the best-kept secrets of the most productive people is that they are comfortable in their workspaces. Since you can spend more time at work than you do at home, personalise your space so it’s comfortable and makes you want to be in it. Whether it’s a photo of your family, some artwork or plants, find a few things that make your place yours!
